someone asked me today why i should support president obama.

i’d just like to say that:

you know how trans* folks get pissed when people expect to get a gold medal for using their correct pronouns?

you know how the queer community gets annoyed when people expect to win an oscar for being accepting of their sexuality?

THE FACT THAT I HAVE TO CHOOSE MY PRESIDENT BASED ON WHETHER OR NOT THEY RESPECT ME AS A HUMAN BEING IS PISSING ME THE FUCK OFF.
